Get excited - JOTA-JOTI is this weekend!
JOTA-JOTI provides Scouting and Guiding members of all ages the opportunity to contact other members on the air using amateur radio and online services to share their Scouting experiences. For many, this is their first and sometimes only experience of International Scouting, and provides a great chance to explore awesome communications devices.
Since 2019, VK JOTA JOTI has supported a smooth and successful program delivery experience. It allows Activity Sites to share their adventure opportunities to youth members and other JOTA-JOTI stations alike.
We have completely rebuilt this platform for 2025, and are excited to invite users to login with existing username and password credentials. Rest assured we can resolve any issues with this promptly by contacting us and telling us who you are and where you're from.
New users can also register! All users to this new site will be prompted to create a profile upon successful login before creating an activity site to advertise your program experiences for other JOTA stations to see. You can even share your contact details during the weekend to help facilitate radio/internet contacts - great help when you have a queue of youth members keen to get on the air/join in online and need someone to talk to!
We're finalising the implementation of a micro-posting function called The Pulse, allowing stations to advertise their current JOTA-JOTI channel and direct those seeking contacts to their presence, accelerating the time to finding stations available for JOTA-JOTI when the pressure is on at your station. These posts can include your profile contact information if you choose to make them public. The Pulse will take the place of the home page during the event weekend.
Thanks for your contribution to the Scouting and Guiding programs, providing unique and exciting opportunities for young people to share their Scouting/Guiding experiences and explore diverse technologies along the way. We couldn't share as many stories without your continued dedication and support.
